There are many great benefits of being an AstraZeneca employee. Starting the day you’re hired, you’ll be covered by a comprehensive and generous benefits package. We’ve made sure that medical, dental, vision and prescription plans come at a very low cost to you because your good health shouldn’t be a premium luxury. In addition to our low-cost prescription plan, all AstraZeneca drugs are free to employees, regardless of what medical coverage plan you choose.

But we don’t stop at health and wellness benefits. We have a suite of other benefits to improve your life. We recognize the importance of your personal life and provide three weeks of vacation to new employees, and generous educational reimbursement options. Your family is also important to us. We offer domestic partner benefits, adoption assistance, and other ways to keep your family safe and happy. In addition to the more traditional benefits we offer, you can also opt in for things like discounted auto insurance and a legal assistance plan.

401(k) and retirement plans are available to help you plan for your future. 401(k) participation begins as soon as you’re hired, and you can be vested immediately, regardless of your length of employment. The AstraZeneca Retirement Plan is a separate savings program; AstraZeneca makes contributions into your account. Your participation begins immediately after your hire date, and you are fully vested in this plan after three years of employment. You can also take advantage of our Fidelity Section 529 College Savings Account for employees with Fidelity, which allows you to start saving for a beneficiary (your children, a relative, or a non-relative). Registration for all of our benefits takes place online, so you have easy access to your coverage.
